Nature has priority.1 It's here first and sustains everything.
The guiding principle is ahimsa. Non-violence translated into (deep)ecology, i.e, the interdependence of human and non-human life. Why "social" and not a "political" manifesto? Social goals are always political. Only they start in a better place. The political sphere is essentially top-down, government-to-governed, which depends on peoples' negotiations and conflicting interests.2 We don't need to wait for top/down policies to change the status quo. As real actors, close to the local/regional nodes of action, we can acquire the know-how and build connections and mobilize public opinion to challenge institutional anomie and social alienation.

rabiosamente genial.
ResponderEliminarProblem... How do the politicians, global leaders, dictators, and corporations profit, regardless of what system or title they choose for themselves?
ResponderEliminarProfit is not divorced from Nature. The problem is unjustified excess of profit.
