¿Amigos? Que no te falten nunca. Sin amistades la vida es vacía. “Lo más precioso del mundo”, la proclama Savater. Lealtad, camaradería y solidaridad más allá de lo oblicuo de la estirpe o lo tribal de la familia. En estos días de fin de año te sientes a tus anchas, en confianza, y bajas la guardia de las apariencias mundanas. Por ello, observo con Séneca: “No temo errar entre amigos”.

Cesar Garcia was born in Havana, Cuba in 1961; his first encounter with the arts was through his uncle, a Cuban Artist who learned his trade at the world-renowned San Alejandro Academy of Arts. Garcia moved to the United States in 1969 and has never been able to forget those moments that as a child he experienced in his uncle’s studio: images that live in him and are always a part of him.
Ena Marrero has studied at the Art Students League of New York, the National Academy School of Fine Arts, (NY) and the New World School of the Arts, (Miami, FL). She works in mixed media sculpture and installations. Recently, her work was part of a group exhibition “Art and Earth Enigmas”, Damien B. Contemporary Art Center. Born in Cuba, Marrero has lived in New York and California.
